ABOUT PLACE , FOOD AND ACCOMMODATION.

CASA JIO TENERIFE is a lovingly restored Finca, with breathtaking gardens. You can find this gem off of the beaten path in Southern Tenerife. A place of reunion and relaxation between the stormy waves of the Atlantic Ocean, and nestled among the rugged rocks of Mount Teide. Immerse yourself in the original Tenerife.

Our beautiful house has seven rooms where up to seventeen people can stay. There are three bathrooms with showers and multiple toilets. At our retreat, you will find a small living room, a massive studio with fantastic ocean views. The sanctuary also boasts two large terraces and a gorgeous, winding garden with a plethora of Canarian plants.

A vegetarian cereal breakfast is included – tea, coffee, and of course, fresh spring water from the depths of Teide. Brunch, lunch, and dinner are also provided on request. Our culinary specialty consists of Ayurvedic cuisine. Naturally, we only use fresh, regional ingredients. Vegan or vegetarian dishes are also available. Enjoying an open-air barbecue is an absolute dream. No place in the world seems more suitable for escaping the mundane and melancholy and provides peace to a troubled mind.

Taking five breaths in camel pose or a full wheel can be the difference between a day that is steeped in anxiety and depression and one that is moved through with an open heart and trust in all that is in store.
Back bends are a great counterbalance for the posture we assume for almost every activity on a daily basis. We live most of our lives in a slumped forward bend and need to open up in the other direction. When done skillfully and consistently, back bends help you release areas in your body that feel intractable.
