Benefits of Going on a Yoga Retreat.

I’m just one week back from our Tenerife retreat and am still bathing in the bliss!

What better way to get out of the hustle and bustle of city living than to go on a yoga retreat!

If you find yourself stressed especially in the current circumstance then attending a yoga retreat can help you to take a step back and evaluate where you’re at from a distance and help you to reevaluate.

That’s how it works for me even though I’m teacher doing my work there 🙂

But by being at the remote place, is somehow easier to stay focus just on ‘here and now’.

Because from a distance I don’t feel the pressure to solve/to change anything. It seems that the distance really helps to stay relaxed and in the presence more.

So,If you find it impossible to silence your mind and you’re always thinking of the next thing you need to do then a yoga retreat gives you a great opportunity to stop overthinking it all.

Meditation is a part of a retreat program, and you can speak to me any time about helping you to harness your thoughts.

When you’re on retreat every day has some value, element of purpose. being concentrated on your own practice, relaxing or taking advantage of optional activities in between.

Your health and wellbeing are placed in the center.

Being able to practice every day without distraction is a gift.

Even the most seasoned yoga practitioner can deepen their practice on retreat and aim to reach the next level.

Not every retreat is a digital detox, but you can make it that way if you want to. Going on a retreat is a perfect excuse to disconnect from technology and get back to basics.

Going on a retreat is an opportunity to eat well without having to worry about it yourself, and it might become one of positive habits you can take home with you. The food you eat on the retreat is chosen with care for your health and overall wellbeing.

Yoga retreats attract like-minded people, benefit of attending a retreat is being able to make new connections and friendships with people who will add some different level of positivity to your life.

Not the latest, attending a yoga retreat can give you a completely new perspective. Whether it’s about your own life or through learning about a new culture.

You never know what you can learn from others that can affect your future choices, or make you see your own circumstances in a different light.

We had all of this in our retreat in
Casa_Jio in Tenerife.

Good amount of yoga and meditation, eating incredible ayurvedic dishes from lovely Sabine – enthusiastic ayurvedic cook and owner of the place. Sitting around a huge colorful table full of an outstanding mix of taste and smells to open every sense.
All together. Not just us, but also friends , friends of friends, some other breath-work teacher just pops up another evening. Small community all enjoying the food together, amazing real and authentic atmosphere.
Having an opportunity to warm up in a sauna during freshy evenings/nights, sitting around a fire on the night of ‘all witches ‘ :)) Feeling like a locals sitting in a bus riding to the beach.
Another day visiting a sculpture park – ‘Fundation of Canaria Gernot Hubert’ really worth to visit.
Or hiking around for some hours in the mountains just behind the house.

We felt very welcome everywhere!

I love the position of the casa remote from the city in a quiet peaceful atmosphere and offering.
very special energy to evryone. Yoga room is very well equipment and with a beautiful view on the ocean.
I love the time in between the classes and workshops spending sunbathing on the roof or chilling on swinging bad in the shadow in the garden.
We didn’t miss anything.
We will go back again and I hope you will join us for such special maybe for someone life-enriching experiences.
If you need to recharge your batteries, feel like you are living the dream, experience food like no other, and take part in yoga, meditation and pranayama, stay tuned.

Some review sharing :

The retreat on Tenerife with Danka was awesome. There is a big difference between coming to studio once or twice a week or practise every day for two times.
Danka is a great teacher and her adjustments were just great!
